The speakers

The workshops and seminars are run by DEUTA staff with many years of product and industry experience. This expertise is complemented by our colleagues from project and innovation management and the development department. Depending on the topic, external speakers are invited to contribute their specialist knowledge, thereby providing the ideal complement to the seminar content, such as product qualification.

Analysis of PZB driving data

A workshop for all users who regularly analyse PZB journey data. In addition to specialist knowledge in the field of data analysis and numerous practical examples, participants will be provided with up-to-date information on hardware and software. A good understanding of PZB and experience with the ADS3 or ADS4 analysis software are required.

The analysis of running data from the PZB data recorder is now a key issue for every railway operator. The use of this data extends far beyond the actual PZB analysis, such as its use for quality assurance. To ensure that data can be analysed correctly, reliably and quickly, analysis software offers a wide range of support.

This practical session will examine specific incidents and train journeys recorded in the PZB data log. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring their own sample train data, which will then be discussed and analysed together. A report will be produced using the analysis software.

Driving data analysis with ADS4

In this session, participants will gain a basic understanding of how to analyse driving data using ADS4. The seminar begins with the process of retrieving driving data. Participants will then be guided step-by-step through the process of analysing driving data. The structure of the new programme is explained in detail, with particular emphasis on the use of various display options. Examples are used to demonstrate how to apply search functions and print reports. Participants are thus introduced to the full functionality of the ADS4 software.
