Regardless of previous notifications made available by DEUTA regarding so called Conflict Materials, this document clarifies to the best of our knowledge and belief the position as of today.
DEUTA GmbH is committed to the safety, health and protection of people and the environment. As part of this commitment, the procurement of raw materials is conducted in a transparent and ethical manner.
No raw materials from conflict regions
DEUTA does not purchase any raw materials that are known to be directly or indirectly classified as ‘conflict minerals’, i.e. raw materials that finance or benefit armed groups or neighbouring countries.
We work exclusively with suppliers who guarantee that their materials are free from conflict minerals and who support our policy. Many of our suppliers have implemented similar guidelines.

Due to the complexity of material flows, particularly in the case of precious metals, which are melted down, recycled and blended from many sources – including the common practice of blending ores and scrap from a wide variety of sources – it is often impossible for companies to guarantee full traceability back to the source. However, DEUTA strives for maximum transparency and compliance at every stage of the supply chain.
