HUD platform for new-build and retrofit projects
The integration of a head-up display (HUD) into rail vehicles places high demands on design and engineering due to the limited space available in the driver’s cab.
The compact and modular DEUTA HUD architecture has been specially developed for confined installation spaces. It is suitable for both new vehicles and retrofit projects and can be integrated without requiring major changes to the existing vehicle architecture.
The DEUTA Head-Up Display (HUD) projections the most important driving information directly onto the combiner screen in the driver’s cab. The driver can switch between the track view and the information display at any time without taking their eyes off the track or losing focus.
A DEUTA Multifunctional Terminal communicates with the vehicle computer and generates the HUD content independently of existing display and control systems. This allows the Head-Up Display to be integrated flexibly and supports both new vehicles and retrofit applications in rail transport.
