DEUTA Pick-up Sensors

Hall effect sensors with extremely long life spans

Virtually wear-free thanks to non-contact measurement

DEUTA pick-up encoders have an exceptionally long service life as they operate without physical contact and are therefore wear-free. Measurement is carried out by scanning a toothed or pole wheel, with the encoder positioned at a defined distance above the wheel.

Hall-effect encoder – determines speed and direction of rotation

Pick-up sensors use the Hall effect to measure rotational speed.

Inside the HS22, two Hall elements are arranged geometrically in such a way that the direction of rotation is also determined. The output levels of the two signals, which are also available with galvanic isolation, are processed for a wide range of supply voltages. If detection of the direction of rotation is not required, use the single-channel HS21. There are many variants with different output stages.
