Social responsibility at DEUTA
Responsibility for children, young people and staff as part of a values-driven corporate culture
Training, higher education, work placements, Girls’ Day, the KURS partnership, the STEM partnership, TuWas ‘Do something’, as well as cultural engagement (museums, geology), sporting engagement (sports clubs) and support for people with disabilities (workshop for the blind) are all an integral part of DEUTA’s daily life.
As part of our social commitment, we feel particularly committed to two areas: supporting children and young people on the one hand, and promoting culture on the other. Children and young people are the future of our society and of our urban, economic and political order. At DEUTA, we therefore see our support for them as a contribution to Germany’s future viability and innovative capacity.
A key focus of our work is to make it easier for children and young people to access education. We also use our business network to give them insights into political and, in particular, cultural institutions, as well as companies across a range of sectors. The aim is to help them develop prospects for their future and gain a better understanding of their local community.
Furthermore, we are committed to a corporate culture that promotes innovation, shared values, quality and flexibility – both externally and internally. A consistent commitment to corporate responsibility explicitly includes responsible human resources management towards our own employees. They form the basis of our success, as their excellent work enables us to meet or even exceed our customers’ expectations. For this reason, we invest specifically and sustainably in the development of our employees: in their education, professional qualifications, motivation, health and safety in the workplace.
