In its own interest and to ensure a high level of supply and product safety, DEUTA-WERKE GmbH is issuing a statement regarding European Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

With this information, we outline the current status of REACH implementation within our company, thereby fulfilling our duty to provide information in accordance with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation.

As a responsible player within the supply chain, it is of paramount importance to us to meet all obligations and consistently avoid disruptions in the supply chain.

DEUTA ensures compliance with the requirements of the REACH Regulation through clearly defined processes.

  • Ensuring that all substances we use are properly registered
  • Requiring our suppliers to provide up-to-date safety data sheets
  • Requiring raw material suppliers to provide immediate notification as soon as a substance of very high concern (SVHC) with a concentration of more than 0.1% by weight is identified
  • Requirement for EU suppliers of articles to provide unsolicited notification if SVHC substances are present in concentrations exceeding 0.1% by weight
  • Immediate and comprehensive notification to our customers as soon as we become aware of SVHC substances in intermediate products


Transparency and integrated hazardous substances management

  • Expansion of our hazardous substances register to include REACH
  • Integration of the ECHA Candidate List into the hazardous substances register
  • Clear guidelines on the procurement, handling and disposal of hazardous substances within our integrated management system
